Ellen on American Idol


Ellen is very funny, and way more entertaining than Paula.
However, does Ellen know anything about music or singing.

What do you think? Is Ellen a good replacement or should they have kept looking?

At first I was thinking the same thing. Ellen? Really? But I'll get enough "musical feedback" from the other 3...I'm looking to Ellen strictly for humor. I think it was a good choice. The end. :)

Not a fan ... BUT, I didn't like the other new judge addition last year, either. Oh well ...

So, I watched a clip and she was saying that she knows she doesn't have much musical feedback to give to the contestants, but she said that she is a music lover and she is listening to see if people have stuff that she would want to buy. She said she's going to be OUR voice. Our being the audience at home, not necessarily me for I do not watch the show, but still, when I heard that I thought "Oh, that's cool, I guess."
