I was woken up this morning by six Twitters of rain at home (and one from my dear friend Katie)!
Since we have moved in to our new house I have been talking about how I can't wait for it to rain so I can lay in my bed and watch TV...especially on my day off (Mondays)! Since we have gotten AppleTV I have been talking about how I can't wait for it to rain so I can rent a movie and watch it immediately while laying on my super comfy couch.
I basically think about how exciting rain would be almost every day I am at home...I love it that much!
And now I am in beautiful Colorado, and it is raining at home. I will just have to wait until the next rainy day in So Cal I guess.

Mustache Week '08
No I won't be participating...in fact I will be missing it as I will be on vacation (there is no sadness in my voice...in fact Mustache Week '08 is the only thing that I will be missing while Jonathan and I are in Colorado). But in honor of all my friends that are participating I have decided to listen to "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys everyday of Mustache Week '08 that I am gone.

Get Excited...
Alyssa...Katie and I bought you a gift the other day. It is coming in the mail to you. You should be excited. Once you receive it I expect you to post pictures on your blog.
The end.

McRib is Back!
I got home 20 minutes before our 40 Days of Love Small Group started tonight. Walking in with my hands full of groceries I said out loud "Yes!" BECAUSE on the table was the box containing my new phone (well...it was really just the skeleton of the phone). I unpacked the groceries, turned on the oven to make brownies, and got Jonathan started on dinner.
Then I stole five minutes to get my phone set up. After so many days with so many buttons not working and such a shiny new phone in my hot little hands...it kind of felt like Christmas Day.
And now I am complete again! Sad (I know)...but accurate! Welcome back Wallace!

Ewww...gross
I found this on one of my favorite blogs swissmiss.
I just love it, and I know it would totally work on me.

Kenya Believe It?
I just got a text from Katie letting me know that she is booking our plane tickets to go to Kenya TODAY!
In early November we are going to see Allison (who I miss terribly) for two weeks. She has been there since late July and is planning on staying until February. You can read all about what she is doing in Kenya here.
Although, Katie has been mulitple multiple times this is a first for me.I am super excited and super nervous.
Will you pray for me.
Pray for our trip details to fall into place
Pray for our safety
Pray for Jonathan...This will be a long time apart and it will be hard on him and me
Allison and Kenya...here I come!

Ipod Vending Machine?
We went to buy AppleTV on Thursday from the Apple Store in Mission Mall, and as we were walking through Macy's spotted this. Although I have seen this before it was only in one other place (the entrance to Pavilion's in Ladera Ranch).
I was a little caught of guard. I don't get it. I mean your in a mall...not in the middle of nowhere with no access to internet or sales people. What is the thought behind it? Is it just in case you have been thinking about buying an Ipod, Digital Camera, etc. and "Hey...Look at that they have them right here!" Or are you hoping people have never seen those items before and will think that is the only way they can buy it?

Sidekick Down
I have been having trouble with my Sidekick. I may or may not have dropped in a coffee cup with a small amount of coffee in it on my desk about a week ago. So needless to say it is not working properly. Most of the buttons aren't working...including the one that creates punctuation (so annoying typing "...question mark" so I don't sound too demanding) and it turns off and on at its own discretion.
I went to the T-Mobile store and after close examination (they never once asked if there was water or liquid damage...does that make me a liar?) they let me know that they would be mailing me a new phone...good news! However, I would have to wait 7 working days to receive it...bad news! I have been up for an hour and have already restarted my phone twice...it is going to be a long 7 days.

Everything good happens on the 12th
We celebrated Katie Edward's birthday last night with dinner at Maggiano's. If it is Katie's birthday that means it is one month to my birthday! And for a girl who loves her birthday...that is a big deal!

Farewell Edward Cullen
I have completed the Twilight Series
Book 1 - Twilight: 3 Days
Book 2 - New Moon: 5 Days
Book 3 - Eclipse: 1 Week
Book 4 - Breaking Dawn: 2 Weeks
Two weeks! Now I know why....I didn't want it to end.
I was feeling morally opposed to reading Midnight Sun, but now I am not sure if I can help myself. I am missing Edward Cullen.

90210 is...
...trashy TV at its finest.
The new 90210 was all I hoped it would be. Of course watching it with six of my friends made it that much better, but either way I am hooked.
But lets be honest...did you have any doubt?

The Last Box
I unpacked the last box today! We moved in exactly a month ago, and although I unpacked unbelievable amounts with in days of our move-in date...I basically stopped for awhile and let life catch up.
We haven't been lazy...just busy.
Our house has been getting "used" a ton:
Olympic Opening Ceremony Party
Guests sleeping in the guest room every weekend except for one since we have moved in (including the first weekend and this weekend!)
A diaper party for Kyle
A ton of Olympic Watching
The League of Men Fantasy Football Draft
Now that I am unpacked it is on to the next project!
