Dear Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Foothill Ranch,
Oh, how I do enjoy your coffee drinks...a warm, delicious Chai Tea Latte can really hit the spot. This is why it saddens me to tell you that I will no longer be coming to you when I need to get work done outside of the office. There are a couple of reasons that have brought me to this decision.
Your inside seating area is very minimal, but today I was still able to find a table near an outlet, and under a light. However, there were three factors that caused me to finish my Chai Tea Latte and get out of there as fast as I could.
1. My table was TOO small. How do you expect me to work if I can barely fit my laptop...being able to spread out is important. Let's face it your spreadability equals slim to none.
2. My chair was very uncomfortable. Although cute...it wasn't long before my back was hurting, and I was looking around to see if there were any other chairs available.
3. You don't have internet. NOT ANY...let alone free internet.
Please understand...I can still visit...we can still be friends...but I just can't work under those conditions.

I will echo your sentiments. Adam and I tried to play Scrabble there one night ( I know . . . we're nerds) and it was less than pleasant . . . as was the hot chocolate sans peppermint.
Glad to see you on here - I was just about to move you to the bottom of my links but you can keep your spot now.
tully's is the best. hands down. FREE wireless, great coffee, and it's rather spacious. usually pretty quiet too.
anddd if you go when matt jensen's working, maybe he'll hook you up.
the reasons you have mentioned are all techniques used to limit the time you spend in the coffee shop. Mc Donald's uses the same tools. The more turn-over you have in a place like that, the better it is for business... never expect high comfort.
As for Starbucks... no comment!

you could suggest to the CBTL outlet of your uncertainties or what you're not comfortable.I am sure they would take your suggestions positively and improve on their poor insights.On the internet part it is part if the cost-cutting programme.You have to pay for internet and so do we.If you want free internet i think they will raise the price of the drinks as well.Even though im far far away in singapore and as a part of the CBTL family,i would sincerely think you should reconsider your decision.Its such a warm and friendly place.If you should drop by Singapore do visit my outlet at Forum Shopping Mall,Orchard Road.I will certainly provide you with the best service.
And our chairs are definitely big and comfortable.
