I Heart Sushi...

...especially when it is passing me by on a conveyor belt.

I Give Up

I thought I had hope of beating Jonathan's high score in Bubble Spinner of 6551, and then I got this email from Adam:
"thanks for giving me yet another distraction from writing...
(this was a real score. i wouldn't know how to photoshop it if i wanted to)"

It is official...I give up!

Jonathan's Birthday Wishlist

Jonathan's birthday is coming up in less than a month, and even though before I met him he didn't really care about his birthday that much. He is now part of my family which means you LOVE LOVE LOVE your birthday. He has been sending me gift ideas. Here his most recent birthday gift wish.

That's right...The Hamburger Bed.

I heart Snail Mail

I found these Retro Valentine's Cards on Fred Flare. Aren't they so adorable?
I have talked about in the past how much I love receiving mail, but I also LOVE sending mail. Since we didn't send out Christmas cards, maybe I will drop some Valentines in the mail.

Addicted to Bubble Spinner

Over Christmas break I started playing Bubble Spinner to pass time. I haven't stopped playing since, and I have gotten a few people hooked. The first 100 times I played I was happy to break 100 and ecstatic to break 200. Jonathan played it twice and got a high score 646 - boooooo! The highest score I have gotten over the last week was 621...until today!

It is safe to say that this was a 2009 miracle, so for now I am announcing my retirement from Bubble Spinner (however...a score of 2000 or above could easily pull me out of retirement). Farewell my love.

Brand Loyalty

The other day when Jonathan was getting out of my car at the bank he asked for a pen. I picked up the handful that I had in my center console and handed him one. Then when I looked at them I realized they were all the exact same brand, Sharpie. I had basically every size and width of black Sharpie in my car available. I guess it is safe to say Sharpie pens are my favorite!

Party til '09

This is a little late, but Happy New Year!
I had a blast ringing in the New Year with 600 of my closest friends at the Refinery. The highlight of the night was that we had our very own HSM Ball Drop that Steve built with 500 lights on it. Oh and all the individual sizes of Martinelli's that I drank. I missed my husband, but I had fun with my friends.

She's Crafty

Sometimes I get these ideas of things I NEED, and I spend my few shopping hours a month looking for them. In December (besides Christmas presents) it was headbands with flowers on them. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I bought everything I needed to make them, and decided I would give it a shot. I love how bold they are, and how much they throw people off when they first see them.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Jonathan's family came to visit us for Christmas. WE had our own make shift Christmas on Sunday, because it was the first official day that all 8 of us were together. There were a lot of presents (we all know how much I love presents!). But of course it was so fun to spend time with family and remember all of the things we are thankful for this year.
